The Shreveport Airport Authority has multiple sites available for both small and large companies seeking either Greenfield sites for new construction or immediate occupancy in an existing building.
For aviation companies, the Airport Authority has numerous sites located that be developed for hangars, corporate offices or for aviation manufacturing or maintenance operations. AeroPark Industrial Park has more than 220 acres available with water, sewer, roadways, electric, and natural gas already in place. In addition, the Airport Authority has nearly 1,000 acres of property available for future development or for large-scale projects.
AeroPark is home to ExpressJet Airlines' largest regional jet maintenance facility. The Houston-based regional jet provider has four heavy maintenance lines at its Shreveport operation, employing more than 300 people.
Warehouse or Distribution Companies
For warehouse or distribution companies, a new warehouse district is under development in the Air Cargo West District located on the Northwest corner of Shreveport Regional Airport.
Companies seeking existing warehouse space have multiple choices at Shreveport Regional Airport, including Air Cargo East which has nearly 40,000 square feet of warehouse and office space now available. The recently constructed Air Cargo West district has nearly 9,000 square feet of space now available. Both sites have loading docks on street side and flexible office space options.
