The Shreveport Airport Authority is in the middle of a Terminal Modernization Project, which will include updats and upgrades to many of the public spaces at Shreveport Regional Airport.
The lower-level restrooms in the baggage claim area are getting a total remodel. When complete, the restrooms will feature all new fixtures, LED lighting, and Dyson Airblade Tap faucets. See renderings below.
During the lower-level restroom renovations, there are no restrooms on the ground floor of the airport. Restrooms are on the second level near the restaurant.
Consolidated Security Checkpoint
In efforts to improve the customer experience, the airport will move the existing two TSA security checkpoints into a single location in the atrium near the second floor restaurant. This consolidated checkpoint will allow more passengers to be screened faster than the current configuration.
